I first met Dave Hopla back in the early ’90s. I can still remember seeing Dave shoot a rediculous amount of shots without hardly missing. I mean we’re talking shooting like 500 shots and missing 5. Not only is Dave a GREAT shooter (and probably the best in the world), but he is doing this at a pace that most people can’t maintain for 50 shots, none-the-less 500 shots.  What’s just as great about Dave is that he’s a motivator.  I can still remember him making sure that every kid at the camp knew that you are truly blessed each and everyday for the simple fact that you are alive.

I had some major issues trying to get the audio file converted (not even the software company could figure it out!), but after months of problem solving here is the first of many great interviews.

Make sure to check out Dave Hopla’s website and products: www.davehopla.com

Enjoy.

If you aren’t able to master this move you’re missing out on the single most in-defensible move in the game of basketball. Getting really good at this move is so important as a perimeter player that I would put it up there with one of the most important things you can learn as a guard.
